This 1909 school portrait came from the same small Maine album that “Two Good Friends” did in the previous post. Both titles are written in the album.

My mother-in-law had a similar photo taken of her elementary school class. The two photos were overlaid. A girl in the middle of the photos was caught mid-blink and so had one eye open and one closed in the final print.

That’s funny! I love class photos. Little kids are usually either happy, annoyed or curious. Older kids are more self-conscious, sometimes nervous.
